Open the link under websites. Use your knowledge of computing electrons, protons, and neutrons to calculate the answer.
Remember (for a stable atom):
The atomic number = the number of protons
The number of protons = the number of electrons
Protons + neutrons = the atomic weight
The atomic weight - the number of protons = the number of neutrons

BIRD IDENTIFICATION GUIDE
I often get questions from students asking about a bird or insect they have seen. Under the web links on the right I have added some nature guides. My husband and I like to watch birds from our kitchen window. Several Juncos were hopping around the ground early this morning. It had been a while since we had seen a Junco so I went the identification guide. The guide also offers sound to hear the bird's call. Be sure and observe the bird's beak when you are trying to determine the type of bird. The shape of the beak tells you what kind of food it eats.

 COMPOSTING AT HOME
On the links to the right is a YouTube video on composting (under link heading ECOLOGY). It has excellent information covering all the basics of composting including simple instructions for starting your own.
